The Backstory

Back in 2010, we had a dream of creating a bit of magic. 

Sometimes magic is hard to find especially when there is constant turmoil, and there was. The year prior our 21-month old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. This consumed us. Anyone who has a child with a disability, illness, or an autoimmune disease knows how this changes a family. Ultimately, our daughter became our priority and we lost our jobs. Financial strain was no stranger and all that came with it. It’s the most devastating news that sometimes makes us the most human – or becomes that push that makes us take a leap. You see, one can lose themselves in all that goes wrong or use those hard moments as lessons and fuel to keep going.

We learned that magic is not something we look for. It’s something we are. Magic is all around us and most importantly, within us. It is our emotions that ultimately create our experiences.

This is how Tremendous Sound Productions was created. Our business became about creating experiences! From knowing devastation and hardship, we knew ultimately that no matter how bad things can get, we can always change our state, thought and atmosphere by doing what we do best through music, dance, and passion. There is definitely magic when we celebrate life together!

 

Our Team

We’ve been extremely fortunate to find a great team over the years that offer unique skills and creativity. Each of our entertainers has many years of performing in front of both large and small audiences. When not performing and “off-camera” our entertainers have great down-to-earth personas with captivating qualities.

Whether your event has 50 people or 300, they are waiting to be entertained! That’s where we come in. We’ll start with helping you with your vision and objective for your event and ensure your guests are taken care of.  After all, you and your guests deserve it!

Covid19 and your Event

Due to COVID-19, many events have been postponed to a different date. If you need help changing your event date, we can assist you with this process.

Every event is different and modifications can be made to best suit your needs.

Your Tremendous Sound Team

Silvio is part of our crew. He’s our go-to person with setups, screens, lighting, and sound. What can we say? He’s pretty amazing!  Originally from Nicaragua, he was raised in Toronto and has been here since. From a very young age, he’s loved to be social and entertain people by making them laugh and feel comfortable.

Silvio started his professional career in the IT world and did that for several years. Feeling a sense of doing more, he went back to school for Media/Radio Broadcasting. During that time, he had the opportunity to do some traveling and fell in love with backpacking in foreign countries on the other side of the world. Looking for a new country to explore is always on his mind.  Silvio also loves living a healthy lifestyle. When he’s not at a social event,  jamming to music, or on a trip you can definitely find him at the gym.  In the time being, you can now catch Silvio in an Italian radio/tv station in the heart of Little Italy as he loves his tunes.

Carlos is an exceptionally talented DJ. Originally considered “Babaluu’s Original DJ”, Carlos knows how to work a crowd and have fun doing it.

With about 20 years of experience, Carlos is a master of mixing and blending tunes to perfection. His specialty is Latino beats and turning them to irresistible dance moves. When Carlos is not working, you can find him doing live DJ mixes during Covid, Crossfit, and spending time with his family.

Hailey Pehl is the new member of the Tremendous team and we’re extremely excited for what the future brings with her talent. You might see her at an event snapping photos or writing a blog; Hailey most definitely knows how to bring her A-game to the table!

Hailey grew up in Saskatchewan but moved to Alberta after graduation. After enrolling in the Social Media and Professional Communications course in Red Deer, Alberta, she completed the course and drove cross country with her dog Ruby, her cat Lee. With the help of her mom, she then relocated to Oshawa to be closer to family and pursue her career.

Since then, life has taken her on a wild ride, and connected with the amazing team at Tremendous Sound Productions. She couldn’t be happier chasing her dreams of Social Media Management and photography, with the support of Tremendous.
